Who we are
Tony the Tutor was a character created as a stand-up routine by Monte LaMonte and developed in collaboration with Michael Zannettis. Monte and Michael share the perspective of working class backgrounds, having grown up in Chicago and Queens, respectively.
Monte LaMonte
An actor and producer, Monte has appeared in many film, television, and theatre productions, including Road to Perdition, Bad Johnson, and Early Edition. A native of Chicago, Monte now lives in None of Your Business, LA County, USA.
Michael Zannettis
A writer, director, and Jeopardy contestant originally from the working-class Greek enclave of Astoria, Queens, he made the semi-finals of the Doritos Super Bowl commercial contest, won the Secret Theatre's One Act Play festival, and has a historical feature length drama currently in development.
